Welcome

Dear Students:

Welcome to Kaplan University High School (KUHS)!

On behalf of the entire KUHS faculty, we are happy to have you as a student in our learning community and look forward to working with you. This is an exciting time to be part of online high school education.

By enrolling in KUHS, you have embarked on an educational path designed to facilitate growth, learning, and personal/professional development. In addition, upon completion of your high school diploma, you will have direct access to a broad variety of choices, such as associate’s and bachelor’s degree programs at Kaplan University, for taking the next step in your educational career.

One of my main goals as Director of Academics is to foster an online learning community that enables our students to truly learn and continually enhance their capacity to realize their highest aspirations. To encourage your success at KUHS, you will be assigned a variety of faculty members (Instructional Team Leader, Academic Coach, Teacher Assistants) who will provide you with continued academic support and guidance.

You are embarking on a wonderful educational journey and the entire KUHS faculty and staff are here to make that adventure a fulfilling one. I wish you all the luck and congratulations on taking the next step in your educational career.

Sincerely,

Sarah Sizemore
Director of Admissions
Kaplan University High School

Reminders

Books: Students need to purchase an anthology prior to starting most English courses. Students can purchase this and other books at the KUHS Online Bookstore at http://bookstore.mbsdirect.net/kuhs.htm.

Pace Charts: It is very important to print the pace chart for each of your courses. The pace chart is located in the “Doc Sharing” tab and will help you keep track of how many assignments you need to complete at the end of each week in order to complete your course in time.
